In the post, the company also tipped that there could be a slew of surprises in store for fans at the launch event on 14th October 2020. As per the reports, the company might unveil a smartwatch, wireless earphones, and a new Nord for the US market. Before the official launch, OnePlus itself confirmed a few noteworthy details regarding the smartphone. The remaining details have been leaked by some of the significant tipsters online. Instead of upgrading its product every 6 months, this company uniquely rolls out one top product every year.

According to the reports, the smartphone could come with a RAM of 12 GB and 256 GB of internal storage. It is also expected that this smartphone comes equipped with a Snapdragon 865+ processor. Another confirmation from OnePlus is that this handset will roll out with an AMOLED panel that will run at a swift refresh rate of 120Hz. OnePlus also disclosed the information about the OnePlus 8T screen officially alongside its testing notes from Display Mate that measures it very highly.

One thing that the OnePlus 8 Pro smartphone will lack is the 65W fast charging. The notable point is that OnePlus 8T won’t come equipped with Snapdragon 865+ SoC processor. As a result, the performance of the 8T handset will be quite identical to the OnePlus 8 Pro. The subsequent phone will probably launch with Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 out of the box.
