Realme, the Chinese smartphone maker has rolled out Android 11-based smartphones into the market in September last year. This new smartphone has received the latest update i.e., stable Android 11 update. The company has finally launched a stable Realme UI 2.0 update to the budget-friendly smartphone. The company announced that it will commence rolling out the stable Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 to the Realme Narzo 20 on its Realme Community. The update comes with the build version RMX2193_11.C.06.
The latest update includes a substantial upgrade over the Realme UI 1.0 that the phone was launched initially into the market. In the latest update, Realme Narzo 20 users can wait for all the standard Android 11 features and Realme UI 2.0 specific changes. Some of the changes rolled out with the new update include enhanced dark mode, Chat Bubbles, Conversation Notifications, improvements to default launcher, support for 3rd party icon packs, new photo editing tools, Tone Tunes, filters for Drawer Mode, and more.
The changelog with the new update comprises added shortcuts to the camera app that aids in editing and sharing photos instantly. The Sound amplifier feature amplifies faint sounds in the surroundings and softens loud sounds when wearing earphones. The Sleep Capsule feature helps users to schedule downtime and secure sleep time. The new update also alters the Photo app that helps in optimizing the photo editing feature with upgraded algorithms and additional filters and markup effects.
Earlier, the X50 Pro 5G received the Realme UI 2.0 update in December last year. Now, the Realme Narzo 20 has got a taste of Realme’s latest custom Android skin. Currently, the update is being rolled out to a limited number of users in India. If there are no bugs, the company will roll out the update to more number of users. The company will push the new update to the users in batches. The Realme users need not worry even if they don’t see any OTA notification on their smartphone.
To receive the new update to all the devices, might take several days. The smartphone users can check for the update manually by navigating to Settings >> Software Update. After receiving the Realme UI 2.0 update, make sure you backup the data on your unit before proceeding with the installation. If the users aren’t interested to continue with the new update, the company has rolled out a rollback package. As the Realme Narzo 20 is the rebranded version of the European Realme 7i, the firmware will be compatible with both smartphones.
