BSNL Rolls Out Rs 399 Plan With 1GB Data Per Day

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, the state-run telecom operator has introduced a new recharge plan to its prepaid customers. The telecom service provider has launched the prepaid plan of Rs. 399 and it will come into service from 15th August 2020 for the BSNL subscribers. With this exclusive Rs. 399 recharge plan, BSNL offers unlimited voice calls to the users including both the local and national calls.

The state-owned telecom operator has fixed a FUP limit of 250 minutes daily on voice calling for the subscribers. In case, the user exceeds the daily limit of voice calling then, the basic calling rates of the recharge plan will apply. The customers will be charged 1 Rupee per minute for making local calls to BSNL mobile and landline phones once the daily limit gets exhausted. On the other hand, subscribers need to pay Rs. 1.30 per minute in case they make calls to other landline phones and STD numbers.

Besides the voice calling services, the Rs. 399 plan also provides 1 GB of mobile data alongside 100 SMS per day. The plan also offers free Lokdhun content and BSNL tunes for free of cost to its subscribers. As per the latest recharge plan, it is available to the customers with a validity of 80 days. There are three ways for the customers to activate BSNL’s latest recharge plan. To activate the new recharge plan, the subscribers can visit the web portal of the provider, access C-Topup, and self-care provisions.

In recent times, before launching this prepaid plan, BSNL has introduced a broadband plan of Rs. 1299 to its subscribers. With this broadband plan, the customers can get a daily data limit of 22GB. This plan is available to the customers by paying Rs. 1299 per month. Besides the monthly plan, the customers can select any of the plans from yearly, 2-year, and 3-year advance plans available on the web portal. 

For this, the customers need to make an advance payment. The annual advance payment to access this plan will charge Rs. 15588. The customers will be charged Rs. 31376 and Rs. 46764 upon selecting 2-year and 3-year payment options respectively. The telecom service provider announced that the latest prepaid plan will be available for the customers residing in the BSNL telecom circles excluding Andaman and Nicobar. The customers can find the latest plan available on the official broadband website of BSNL under the section of BSNL Bharat Fiber Broadband Combo Tariffs.

The telco operator has stopped the Rs. 399 and Rs. 1699 recharge plans in Tamil Nadu and Chennai. As per the latest report, these two plans will no longer be available for the aforesaid regions starting today. Earlier, BSNL launched Rs. 599 ‘Work from Home’ prepaid plan exclusively for those who work from home during the COVID-19 lockdown. This prepaid plan offers copious benefits such as 5GB of 4G mobile data per day alongside 250 minutes of local, STD, and roaming calls for free and 100 SMS per day. All these benefits can be accessed by subscribers for 90 days.
