Reliance Jio, the popular telecom operator in India has come up with the latest update to its JioFiber broadband plans particularly beneficial for home-based users. The revised broadband plans include unlimited data usage. As per the latest plans, the users can access unlimited data at Rs. 399 per month. For the new users, JioFiber is available as part of a 30-day free trial.
The telecom giant made this announcement regarding 4 new JioFiber home broadband plans on Monday. With these plans, the company ensures truly unlimited internet to its customers. The initial price for accessing the JioFiber home broadband plans starts at Rs. 399 and goes all the way up to Rs. 1499. Besides offering high-speed unlimited internet service, some other benefits include free unlimited voice calling and subscription to paid OTT platforms that include Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, Sony Liv, Lionsgate Play, Alt Balaji, and Netflix.
The users can access the content available on these platforms with these preferred plans. Akash Ambani, the Director of Reliance Jio said in an official statement that reads, ‘JioFiber is already the largest Fiber provider in the country with over a million connected homes, but our vision for India and Indians is much larger. We want to take Fiber to each and every home and empower every member of the family.’
JioFiber has tied up with topmost Over-the-top platforms to offer a free subscription to about 12 OTT apps including the aforesaid apps. The statement further said, ‘JioFiber will propel India into global broadband leadership, thereby providing broadband to over 1,600 cities and towns.’ With this latest update to JioFiber broadband service, Reliance Jio is competing with other popular ISPs such as ACT Broadband, Spectra, Airtel Xstream, Tata Sky Broadband, and more.
Reliance JioFiber New Broadband Plans & Pricing
As per the new broadband plans, JioFiber subscribers can get a 30 Mbps speed internet connection at Rs. 399. To access 100 Mbps speed, the users need to pay Rs. 699. The users who seek 150 Mbps speed must pay Rs. 999 while 300 Mbps speed is available at Rs. 1499. As per the JioFiber no-condition 30-day free trial offer, the subscribers can access 150Mbps high-speed unlimited internet. Besides this, it also provides free voice calling, 4K STB with accessibility to the top 10 paid OTT apps at no additional charge. If the user is not interested in this service, the company will take it back without any difficulty. The newly launched 30-day free trial is available to all the new subscribers.
The subscribers can also access the JioMeet app for video conferencing without any additional cost. The subscribers can also access JioGames for online gaming. The free trial offer is available to all the new JioFiber subscribers starting from 1st September 2020. Reliance Jio claims that the users can gain symmetric speed with the latest broadband plans. It means the upload speed will be the same as the download speed.
